New acquisition for 2015 Ball Grove Lake Trawden.

The Lake is located on the outskirts of Colne, Lancashire.

The lake, which was once used as a tannery on the site, provided continued interest and wildlife potential: as does the large area above, Ball Grove, that has been designated as a local Nature Reserve.

The water ranges in depths between 1 and 2 meters and is about 2.5 acres in size and has around 20 fishing pegs including a possible 4 pegs with disability access. The park around the lake is well known locally for its beautiful surroundings, walks and wildlife.

The Lake holds a variety of coarse fish which include, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Crucian Carp and possibly some bigger Common and Mirror Carp.

Car parking is accessed from Ball Grove Drive off Keighley Road.
