The stretch starts at station road bridge in Padiham and extends approximately ¾ mile downstream left hand bank to the large weir at the former Padiham power station known locally as fat pipe. The fishing here is similar to the cornfield farm stretch, but the river deepens and slows towards the weir making it more suitable for trotting for odd roach, dace and chub.

As above follow A671 into Padiham town centre go through the lights then take next left into Station Road. Parking is on the roadside any where along.
